JPC Transmission Service, in collaboration with the participating companies in the consortium (RDC Informatics, Innosophy, Kenotom, Innoesys Innovative Embedded Systems IKE), successfully presented the JPC BRAIN device at the BEYOND 2023 Technology and Innovation Exhibition, held between May 24 and 26, 2023, at the facilities of the Thessaloniki International Exhibition.
The innovative JPC BRAIN device was developed through the project ” ΑΗΜΕΚΤ – Development of a specialized portable device for the control and debugging of electronic control units for gearboxes and internal combustion engines.” The project is part of the National Scope Action “RESEARCH-CREATE-INNOVATE B’ CYCLE” and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and national resources through the Operational Programme Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (OPCoEI) (project code T2EDK-04223).
It was presented accompanied by an Engine Control Unit (ECU) and gearbox simulation device to demonstrate its functionality, approaching real conditions by using harnesses that would also be used under real conditions for its connection. This allowed visitors to use the JPC BRAIN device as if they were in a testing laboratory, enabling them to evaluate its capabilities and provide constructive feedback on its functionality and features.
